New scholarship builds relations with UC Davis

A new scholarship has just been established, funded by The George Mason Charitable Trust.

The George Mason UC Davis/University of Auckland exchange scholarship will be awarded to a postgraduate from the University of California Davis wishing to enrol in a PhD or other approved Doctorate in the School of Biological Sciences at The University of Auckland.

The $25,000 per annum scholarship will be awarded for three to four years of fulltime study and is intended to cover compulsory tuition fees and provide a stipend.

The principal purpose of the scholarship is to foster collaboration between the two universities.
