The two videos on this page demonstrate how a 'no-take' angling policy dramatically increases fish stocks in the area.
The footage above is baited underwater video of Ngaio Rock at the Poor Knights. It was taken in 1998 when it was a partial reserve but with recreational angling allowed. The footage below is of the same spot, but shot in 2004, some six years after it was made a 'no-take' reserve in October 1998.
